Project Saint Gobain

Another great project with a renowned glass manufacturer from the region. A 6 t overhead crane equipped with STAHL CraneSystems components, designed for continuous ambient temperatures up to +80 °C. External ventilation for the lifting and traveling motors, a heat shield beneath the insulated equipment box with air conditioning and temperature monitoring make it possible to operate this crane over a glass melting pan with radio control. The wire drive may be exposed to a maximum temperature of +250 °C for up to 120 seconds.

Project ANTROK

3 new crane systems at ANTROK Anlagentechnik in Lohfelden.

Realized by SWF Krantechnik & Dahs Krananlagen GmbH.

Two SWF double-girder bridge cranes with Nova Silverline lifting gears, operating in a Master/Slave configuration in a load capacity range of 32 tons, are in service.

The Master/Slave radio remote control enables two cranes to be operated with a single remote control. Using data radio, all crane movements are controlled in parallel when a limit is reached or in case of a malfunction, providing the highest level of safety. The radio remote control was implemented using the Sender Spectrum1 and Geox Data Radio components from HBC Radiomatic, Germany.

In another hall, a single-girder bridge crane with SWF Krantechnik Blackline crane components was delivered. The crane is operated with a Quadrix radio remote control from HBC Radiomatic.

Project REMECH Systemtechnik GmbH

Two cranes as exemplified by REMECH Systemtechnik GmbH, headquartered in Unterwellenborn.
Remech stands worldwide for mechatronic system solutions for the automotive industry – everything from a single source through a competent and high-performance team.

Two single-girder bridge cranes with a span of 16 m and a load capacity of 5 tons.
As a special feature, each lifting gear was equipped with a 140-watt LED spotlight that can be activated via radio remote control – many options are possible and available. For any questions, please feel free to contact our representative.

Project Bühnen Köln: 8 Crane Systems with Perimeter Control & Radio Remote Control

Victor 1 GmbH & Co. KG, a 90% subsidiary of OSMAB Holding AG in Germany, owns a 23,500 m² property at the Cologne-Kalk site. On the property, there are two buildings—one with approximately 8,200 m² of rental space and another with around 6,200 m². The larger building is used as a workshop for the stages of the city of Cologne.

We have equipped the workshops with a total of 8 crane systems, in this example featuring two SWF Krantechnik lifting gears (tandem) as rope and chain hoists with a traveling cable drum for the power supply of the plate lifters. Two cranes with 2x3-sided perimeter control and one of two monorails with 2x 250 kg chain hoists on a 60 m span are electrically operable.

All crane systems have a lifting height of 9 m, can be controlled via radio, support load capacities ranging from 250 kg to 1500 kg, and span over 19 m. During installation, we were supported by Autokrane Hack and Beyer Mietservice.

Project WesterwaldStahl at the Andernach Location

Three single-girder bridge cranes with a span of 19 meters and a load capacity of 6.4 tons, distributed across two hall ships, equipped with two 3.2-ton lifting gears that enable simultaneous starting and stopping of lifting movements and trolley operations in tandem mode.
VARIO control provides stepless speeds for crane and trolley drives, enabling precise load positioning and reduced load swing.
The frequency converter control ensures gentle operation to reduce material wear, thereby lowering maintenance costs and downtime.

With the wireless radio remote controls from our own brand, crane operators can flexibly control, monitor, and manage trolley and crane movements.
The crane operator enjoys greater freedom of movement. Operating the crane is significantly easier and daily tasks are simplified.
